I broke down on Saturday and ordered a 6x8 Wacom tablet from Best Buy online. In hindsight, though, I really can't afford it, and am going to have to return it once it's received. Sigh.

Subsequently, I don't want to shade this picture I've got block-coloured, because I KNOW it would look ten thousand times better if I could even just SHADE it with a tablet. I even know how now...I've been reading up on methods, just so I wouldn't get frustrated when I first got it out of the box.

There's still a very awful part of me that's saying, "Heeeeeey, who's to know? Just stick it on your credit card for awhile, and pay it off once you're employed!" But I need new glasses, the Beast needs some work after driving around in salt and sand all winter, and I've just decided to go back to school in September to add onto my degree. More debt is not an option. o.O;

Double sigh. Just think. Soon I'll be a highly qualified technical writer, and will be able to afford a little tablet with no trouble at all. Or something.

(It's still going to be hard to return that godforsaken box, though!)

I'll suck it up and go shade now with my stupid little laptop touch pad, thank you.
